To get to Chatham and The Hawthorne, cross the Cape Cod Canal on the Sagamore Bridge.
(This takes you on to Route 6, the Mid Cape Highway)

Take Route 6 to exit 11 and Route 137.

Turn left onto Route 137 South and proceed to its end at the junction of Route 28.

Take a left on Route 28 South & proceed to Chatham traffic rotary & Main Street (3.3Mi).

Straight through the rotary and follow Main Street through town to the stop sign (.8Mi).

Turn left to Shore Road.

The Hawthorne is ½ mile on the right.
